To the Anti-Duterte Critics:

Quite frankly, I am so sick and tired of reading and hearing anti-Duterte folks blabbering here and there, all over the freaking web, complaining non-stop!- condemning him every single chance they could get- like it's all they're living for nowadays!-- aiming for Duterte's quick downfall! What a goal! *rolls eyes*

If only people would stop spewing hate and negativity for one minute and start thinking of how they can really HELP instead... the Philippines would be a much better place.

Seriously, what the heck is the matter with you people? How about you get off your high horses for once and start appreciating the improvements in the country that Pres. Duterte has accomplished, so far?!

Yes, Pres. Duterte has a filthy impulsive mouth unbecoming of a president. He cussed in public towards the pope and the American president, THREATENS to kill the criminals (eg. drug pushers/drug lords/ drug addicts, and every other bad element in the country!)... but, so what? The guy is just being true to himself! He is simply devoid of pretenses and lacks any interest to look "rich, religious, and elegant"! Well then, so be it! That is not a crime! Ever heard of the saying-- "nobody's perfect"??? Ha! Really now, there are more important things you should be concerned about!!!

Guess what, you are so hellbent in declaring how “rotten” he is that you’ve forgotten exactly who is more “evil” in the society and what really matters more in the big picture.

Would you really rather see those drug addicts thriving, untouched, and freely roaming the streets, predisposed to robbing, kidnapping, raping, killing or simply terrorizing the lives of many innocent people around them?- even their own loved ones! (because that COULD easily be the case when someone's under the influence of prohibited drugs, or are you really that much of a hypocrite?)...

Seriously, aren’t you glad even just a wee bit to know that the streets are now much safer for you and your kids because the "bad guys" are  starting to go  hiding- afraid to either get caught or killed?... Aren’t you glad that the airports are now finally free from “laglag-bala” scam because Pres. Duterte threatened to have  all those airport personnel fired if it continues?- not to mention the free wifi, the chairs in waiting areas, and other progress implemented in the airport/s because of his strict mandate? What about the never-ending red tape, graft and corruption that he strongly aims to abolish? These things don't mean anything to you? Wow.

I, for one, am relieved to find out that I won’t need to keep going back and forth to whichever government offices when processing personal documents (and be told that something’s missing again & again after struggling to stand on a long queue time and time again)! For sure, you would agree that Duterte threatening to remove lazy inefficient people from gov't offices had proven quite effective, right?! Please don’t tell me you don't appreciate that!

... and what about his determination to keep peace in the country by initiating talks and agreements with the long-standing rebels despite insurmountable danger and difficulties?

There are too many significant improvements that the president Duterte has been endeavoring to achieve for the good of the country and yet you sit there and choose to criticize him negatively again and again... and again... and again! He delivers a long speech embodying 80% improvements aimed for the country and the common people, promising drastic changes for the better!- and yet you choose to be deaf and clueless to that, and instead, you focus on that one random stupid joke he makes, and you create a mountain out of it- using it against him like it's everything that matters in this world! Really?! *rolls eyes yet again*

Don’t even start with me on those so-called extra-judicial killings! In numerous press appearances (check them out on youtube), the President had repeatedly, angrily, and clearly called out to the police force to do their jobs within the legal bounds of their duty!, and even the PNP chief Bato had vowed to personally hunt down and 'beat up' any abusive policeman with his own hands- which means (like I really have to explain this)--bad cops will be duly admonished! Yes, they did say that!

It's just so ridiculous that when Pres. Duterte is on a serious mode, you do not notice what he says... but when he starts a stupid joke, then you choose to believe him and it spreads like a wildfire! Obviously, you just keep ignoring all the good stuff because you're only interested on how to find faults!... Methinks you need to look at yourself in the mirror.

if a criminal chooses to fight and endanger the lives of the police instead of calmly surrendering, don't you think he risks getting injured???... or worse- end up getting killed in the process? You do not believe that there are drug cartels out there who would mercilessly wipe out these people who might rat out on them?… and then when it actually happens, you are quick to blame it to the president! Why? Have you forgotten that there have always been scalawags in the police force even before Duterte's reign??? C'mon now, people! This is not something new, and yet you somehow point Duterte responsible for all this!

If the President is on a killing spree, then why are there 700,000 or so drug addicts and pushers alike who are still alive after surrendering? You seem to have conveniently forgotten about that. Needless to emphasize, those people who are willing to change and undergo rehabilitation, are still, very much ALIVE!!! Fact.

Soooo, instead of tirelessly condemning the president, let me make a simple suggestion-- why, oh why, don’t you just convince the remaining drug addicts & pushers in your friends & family circle out there to surrender!!!?- or, at least, change their ways while they still can??? You know, maybe you can try to actually do something and contribute to the society, for a change?!!!

Remember these lines- “ask not what your country can do FOR you”, but rather... “ask what YOU can do for your country”.

Start helping.
